Terms of engagement

These terms apply when you enquire about or engage Aidatasolutions for petty cash audit reviews and related advisory work. By requesting a review or paying a deposit you confirm that you have read and accept them.

Acceptance

A binding engagement begins when we issue a written fee note and you confirm in writing (including email) or pay the stated deposit. Website content alone does not create a contract.

Services

We provide petty cash float examinations, voucher trail spot-checks, imprest reconciliation assistance, and surprise cash count observations as described on this site and refined in the fee note. We do not provide statutory audits, legal advice, or payment processing through this website.

Client responsibilities

You must arrange lawful access to premises, introduce us to custodians and security as needed, and provide records that are complete to the best of your knowledge. You remain responsible for decisions taken after receiving our exception schedule.

Intellectual property

Working papers and exception schedules we prepare for you may be used internally by your organisation. You may not resell them or present them as a statutory audit opinion. Our website copy, branding, and templates remain our property.

Liability

We perform reviews with professional care. Our aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where liability cannot be limited under Hong Kong law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or regulatory penalties imposed on you by third parties.

Confidentiality

We keep client float amounts, exception details, and staff names confidential except where disclosure is required by law or agreed in writing for a joint adviser.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from engagements with Aidatasolutions.

Changes

We may update these terms on this page. The version in force is the one linked from our fee note at confirmation.
