Rates for petty cash reviews
Starting fees and what drives the quote for float examinations, voucher checks, and surprise counts.
Fees are quoted in Hong Kong dollars before fieldwork begins. The figures below are informational starting points, not a checkout price. Multi-outlet groups and messy historical voucher bags are priced after a short intake call.
Starting rates
Single float, orderly records, under HKD 10,000 authorised limit
One replenishment cycle or ~30 days of claims
Half-day session with your bookkeeper
Per location visit within an agreed week
What moves the estimate
- Number of tills or floats in one visit
- Whether vouchers are sorted by date or mixed in loose bags
- Need for bilingual (English / Chinese) exception schedules
- After-hours or public-holiday fieldwork
- Travel beyond central Kowloon / Hong Kong Island corridors
Deposits and billing
A 30% deposit confirms the fieldwork date for full float examinations. The balance is invoiced when the exception schedule is delivered. Surprise counts are billed after the visit. We do not process card payments on this website.
Not included in the starting rate
Statutory audit opinions, forensic investigation beyond cash and voucher findings, rewriting your full cash policy manual, or recurring monthly bookkeeping. Ask if you need those — we will say what we can cover and what belongs with another adviser.
